Position Summary


Our client is seeking dependable and hardworking Dock Workers to join our warehouse operations team. This role is responsible for loading and unloading freight, managing inventory, processing shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a distribution or warehouse environment and possess working knowledge of SAP , Encore , and RF scanning systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers safely and efficiently.
• Verify shipment accuracy, inspect freight for damages, and report discrepancies.
• Stage, move, organize, and store materials throughout the warehouse.
• Utilize SAP and Encore systems to process shipments, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
• Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to complete inventory transactions.
• Prepare orders for shipment by palletizing, shrink-wrapping, labeling, and staging products.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle count activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and system updates.
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts when needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, dock, shipping, or receiving experience required.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Encore systems preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and loading dock environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
