Job Description
We are seeking empathetic, organized individuals to join our team as Remote Patient Support Specialists. In this role, you will be the vital link between patients, healthcare providers, and life-changing specialty medications. Responsibilities Monitor accounts for new patient cases and process applications under strict PHI compliance. Conduct outbound calls to confirm coverage, co-pays, and specialty pharmacy details. Contact insurance companies to verify benefits and mediate complex payer or pharmacy issues. Deliver an empathetic, supportive experience while answering patient questions about assistance requests. Identify and submit Adverse Events and research alternative funding for patient eligibility. Accurately enter detailed data into proprietary software while conversing with customers. Qualifications & Skills Minimum High School diploma; healthcare, insurance, or pharma experience preferred (specifically Medicare/Medicaid and prior authorizations). Ability to type 40+ WPM and expertly navigate video conferencing tools (MS Teams/Zoom). Exceptional multitasking, communication (verbal and written), and time-management skills. Strict adherence to attendance policies and a collaborative, driven, self-starter mindset.
